I was sitting on e day minding my own business
When a huge bag of Twizzlers landed in my lap
I ripped open that bag as fast as I could
Knowing that the moment the candy touched my mouth
The sensation would be nothing but pure bliss
I pop open a nice soda pop happily sucking down the fizz
One by one the Twizzlers go down the hatch
The smile on my face as I chew reminds me of when I was a kid
Day dreaming up into the sky trying to make pictures out of clouds
Candy as you can imagine is a great way to escape
Merrily I continue emptying the awesome bag of fun
Getting thirsty I make a straw out of my twizzler
Smiling at my own cleverness of my own ingenuity
Sipping pop down with my lips slowly gulp by gulp
I see your hand inching it's way toward my bag
I give you the dirties of all dirties of looks
Looking at your hands im pretty sure they have not been washed
I throw a few in your general direction fo rgood measure
The look of pure joy beams on your face
I hand you a soda so you can learn my trick
Things always look better on the other side of a Twizzler
As the bag empties and our bellies are full
Tomorrow is another day to find another bag of candy
But for right now we live with the memory of our bliss
With a great big belch and a well placed sigh e finished the last of our soda.
