MY thoughts drift back to a place and time.
Where simple pleasures can be found,
Life isn't as complicated as it is now,

I don't feel as if I am being pulled to the breaking point,
When sitting and looking at the stars fascinated me,
Letting the sun wash all over me,

But now I am confuse and scared,
So I lash out and hurt people who are dear to me,
No longer able to stand to be with me,

All my friends have left for better skies,
