I am slowly going under,
Happiness has found another place,
Instead I am hurt and confused,
All my anger is building up.

I cry silent tears of rage,
But no one is there to listen,
I am all alone as usual,
With thoughts racing inside my head.

Doubts are beginning to show through the surface,
I am aggravated and bottled up,
Yet I keep silent never saying a word,
Like a time bomb ready to explode.

I keep my thoughts to myself,
Even though I should say something,
But fear has sealed my lips,
Afraid of what you reaction will be.

You might turn away from me,
Still we are drifting far apart,
The spark that was there,
Has simply died out.
